We are currently seeking a Trainee Commercial Representative for our Los Angeles, CA location. This role reports to the Commercial Manager at our Los Angeles location.
TRAINEE POSITION SUMMARY:
· Responsible for purchases of scrap metal from industrial accounts and dealers.
· Point of contact for designated suppliers including traveling to accounts.
· Point of contact for designated sales customers including travel to accounts.
· Develops the growth of business activities and profit with assigned accounts and in assigned territories.
· Attend industry functions as company representative.
· Complete receiving paperwork for designated suppliers.
· Review/backup other commercial representatives receiving paperwork.
· Review sales contracts.
· Commercial related reporting.
· Backup point of contact for designated suppliers/sales customers.
· Medium-up to 50% travel requirements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Proficient level of computer skills: Google, Google sheets, Excel, Word, and Internet.
· Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
