Job Title: Human Resources & Compliance Manager
Job Summary:
GMYT Fashion Academy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources & Compliance Manager to oversee our HR department and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, employment law, and compliance practices. As the HR & Compliance Manager, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, and implementing HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
- Advise management on HR best practices and recommend improvements to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee records, contracts, and documentation.
- Manage employee relations and address any employee concerns or conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and career development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in employment laws to ensure the organization's practices remain compliant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs on HR policies, compliance, and workplace ethics.
- Stay abreast of emerging HR technologies and tools, recommending and implementing improvements to streamline HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (3 years) as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the fashion or creative industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance practices, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
