- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
- Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary. Assist them to the designated waiting list areas.
- Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
- Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
- Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
- Responding to any guest complaints, address the floor supervisor as necessary and help to resolve them.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering reservation and restaurant food & services inquiry.
- Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate
- Tend to special Guest needs and requests
- Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service
- Adhering to sanitation, safety policies
Experience in Seven Rooms software for bookings and reservations is a MUST.
