As part of the New Zealand leadership team, you’ll drive P&L and oversee new business pipelines and sales opportunities. Intrinsic to this role will be your ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the whole business to maximise revenue opportunities.
The Role
- Drive line of business P&L in New Zealand
- Active involvement in the WTW New Zealand Executive team contributing to the success of WTW’s business in the region
- Manage and develop the financial lines team
- Manage the new business pipeline and sales opportunities, working closely with geographic and business leaders, Client and Industry leaders, Client Relationship Directors/Account Directors, Broking leaders
- Oversee marketing efforts within the geography
- Drive regional client value proposition, IP and product development
- Collaborate effectively with other Corporate Risk and Broking leaders
- Focus on P&L including revenue growth and direct cost management
- Work with other geographic business leads, Client Relationship Directors and broking leads to drive overall geography growth and profitability
- Collaborate effectively with others across the whole business to drive revenue growth and profitability
The Requirements
- Experience as a Financial Lines technical expert
- Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of developing people
- Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
- High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management
- Proven track record of delivering new business against challenging sales targets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to act as an ambassador for the Company
- Level 5 financial services certificate
