About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Global Category Manager who will foster the Premium Chocolate Category development and Channel Portfolio Acceleration, focusing on both innovation and existing range.
Taking this position, you will become part of the Group Sales Business Development team and have a high visibility and exposure in our organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
The role offers a great platform to develop and/or strengthen your knowledge of the key Business Management fundamentals.
Covering this position, you will be responsible for innovation development and deployment, acting as a pivotal point between Central Marketing and the Commercial community, providing insights and recommendations on the range architecture of all the innovation (consumer unit and trade unit) in respect to the markets/channels’ requirements and key commercial pillars (i.e., Channel Range, Price Pack Architecture, Value Chain, Merchandising and Executional Excellence guidelines)
You will take care of portfolio management activities, working cross-functionally with Central and Local teams, supporting the development of existing core and its execution across the different markets and channels, ensuring that the right range architecture based on key shopping missions and shoppers’ needs is deployed and supporting Central Portfolio team with optimization streams to ensure de-complexity is maintained long term.
Moreover, you will work in close collaboration with Business Unit and SBD partners (Trade Marketing, Area & Channel leads) to build the retail activation vision, support the definition of the channel-specific blueprint strategies and coordinate its Global deployment, fostering learning, sharing and cross-fertilization.
Concerning brand activation strategy, you will co-drive Brand presence and campaign execution across channels through excellence in in-store vision, strategy, execution and tracking in alignment with the Global Activity Grid priorities. You will define and validate with the business community the KPIs to track the execution excellence, you will review and report the commercial performance, generate insights/recommendation and corrective actions to nurture continuous improvement on the commercial dimension.
Lastly, you will manage the multifaceted organisation matrix, to ensure an effective project management, coordination, and communication within the Ferrero ecosystem, ensuring full alignment on key business priorities amongst all key Stakeholders both centrally and locally.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring your university degree background and your experience of around 5 years in a similar function (Shopper Marketing/Category Management/Trade Marketing/Business Unit Marketing or Sales).
Your familiarity with a well-structured multinational company and your sound knowledge of the FMCG sector will be an asset for us.
Moreover, you will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your entrepreneurial spirit, proactivity, inquisitive and team player attitude. Your presentation, communication and interpersonal skills will be fundamental to deal with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Last but not least, we will value your knowledge of MS Office, Think Cell and expertise in working with scan and panel data (i.e., Nielsen, Kantar, IRI).
