Job description - Assistant Manager, Sales (Vehicle Parts)

Operational Tasks:

  • Support Sales Manager

  • Release sales orders
  • Administration of weekly stock orders, as well as Rush / VOR orders and production orders
  • Responsible for handling a designated group of customers (Follow-up different types of daily inquiries from distributors, work towards achieving parts sales target, work on action plan projects and report accordingly, etc…)
  • Daily contact with Japan / Thailand for delivery follow-up and technical information
  • Liaise with procurement department concerning backorders or future campaigns
  • Liaise with logistics department and warehouse
  • Write-up meeting minutes of distributor visits
  • Monthly reports (analyse sales results and collect distributors’ information)
  • Customer budget support analysis and follow-up
  • Sales campaigns (launch and review)
  • Pricing study
  • Handle special customer requests (re. deliveries) / special price requests
  • Support for yearly European conference arrangements
  • Web portal system training to distributors
  • Credit control support (overdue invoice collection)
  • Business Development Tasks:
  • Support Sales Manager with handling and development of spare parts business
  • Market analysis of products and price setting
  • Regular visits to distributors and follow up on actions

Other Tasks:

  • Operational optimization
  • Training

Experience

  • Minimum 5 year relevant experience

Languages

  • Dutch
  • English

Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree

Knowledge

  • Excel
  • SAP (Not mandatory, but a plus)
  • Power BI (Not mandatory, but a plus)

Willing to travel

  • Approximately 6 business trips per year ( 2 - 4 days per trip)

Salary: €3,500.00 - €4,000.00 per month
