Starbulk S.A. seeks to employ a Vessel Performance Monitoring (VPM) Commissioning Engineer with a University degree on Electronics or Automation Engineering and minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in a shipping company. Post-graduate studies in Industrial automation or Data Acquisition, or knowledge of programming languages (Visual Studio or WinDev) will be an asset; Experience in interfacing with Serial bus Communication Protocols (RS485, Modbus, Canbus), point-to-point Serial Protocols (RS 232, RS 422); Knowledge of Data Acquisition Hardware, Software and Practices; Familiarity with A/D conversion and interfacing with Analog Signals as well as MS Windows Server and MS SQL Server; Travel mobility on short notice for long periods; Fluency in English.
