Reports to: Restaurant Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all Company accounting and financial activities and ensure that these activities are completed and delivered in a timely & accurate manner and in accordance with the laid down standards & best practices in accounting while in compliance with the governing financial regulations.
KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversee the daily accounting & financial activities of the Company and to maintain the Company’s books of accounts complete in all aspects.
- Ensure all General ledger accounts and Books of Accounts are properly maintained, supported, and documented.
- Handling company’s petty cash and monitoring daily cash flow to ensure efficient utilization of Capital to meet business requirements.
- Prepare, examine, verify, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Preparing invoices, receipts & payments for the company’s clients, service providers.
- Maintain adequacy of financial records and reports as per best accounting practices.
- Establishing long-lasting business relationships with company’s banks and service providers.
- Maintain proper internal control systems that uphold the security and control of information, assets, cash & receivables relating to company’s business.
- Ensure that adequate costing and pricing mechanisms are in place to ensure pricing is sound and no products are priced below cost.
- Timely book closing every month and preparation of monthly financial statements & MIS reports for distribution to Management/Owner.
- Competency in all matters relating to the company’s finance & accounting.
- Payroll process review and WPS preparation and co-ordination with banks.
- Review the routine financial activities and authorization of purchase orders, sales orders, preparation of receipts & payments etc.
- Prepare daily & monthly reports as requested by GM & Owner.
- Co-ordinate with Internal & External Auditors and ensure timely completion of Audit & Tax filing.
- Inventory and periodical physical verification of inventory.
- Any other task as assigned by Management.
EDUCATION:
- Accounting 3-year bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in business/ finance, or qualified as Chartered Accountant will be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in F&B industry.

Salary: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
