Based in Brisbane, the Operations Administrator is responsible for undertaking a high level of administrative and generalist tasks that supports Commercial & Industrial electricity customers throughout all aspects of the customer lifecycle.

This role requires an individual to be a self-starter, happy to work autonomously on repetitive tasks and to tight deadlines. Having highly satisfied customers is vital for customer acquisition and retention as there is a direct correlation
between satisfaction with retention and purchase. It is also vital for our brand and its equity to deliver high quality results particularly during peak periods and with increased transactional volumes as the business continues to grow.

This role will work closely and collaboratively with all departments within customer operations, along with the broader company to achieve the outcome of this role.

With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:
  • Organise, prioritise and execute a high volume of daily tasks and queries;
  • Manage the billing and claims associated with Electricity Rebate customers in line with Government
  • requirements;
  • Receive and respond to stakeholder enquiries and complaints received over the phone, email or other mediums;
  • Provide advice to customers, the business or project teams;
  • Resolve service order and transfer management and billing exceptions within internal and external service levels (quality and efficiency);
  • Adhoc and periodic reporting to management and the Shell Energy team; and
  • Manage any special projects allocated by the leadership team.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to industry CRM and billing platforms;
  • Proficient at using the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to meet personal objectives as well as aligning to team goals; and
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining tolerance, appropriate humour and patience.
