We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our team at an exotic cars workshop. As the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the workshop, managing a team of technicians, and maintaining the high standards required for servicing and repairing exotic cars. Your leadership and technical expertise will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the workshop's reputation for excellence.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of technicians, mechanics, and support staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team's technical skills are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
- Monitor work progress, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within established timelines.
- Manage the distribution of work orders and assignments to the team members, considering their expertise and workload.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of exotic car mechanics to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to technicians when faced with challenging repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to manufacturer standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control in all services and repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets or exceeds customer expectations and industry standards.
- Interact with clients, discussing their vehicle's issues, providing accurate estimates, and explaining repair/maintenance recommendations.
- Address customer concerns or inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in automotive mechanics is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in automotive repair, with a specialization in exotic cars.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient knowledge of exotic car systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
- Familiarity with workshop management software and tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
