As Business Risk & Compliance Manager, you are responsible to lead and develop a proactive and comprehensive agenda of a healthy working environment, mitigating risks and ensuring that all functions identify, assess and proactively handle those risks. In this role, you will ensure that risks are handled, and IKEA co-workers, visitors, external partners, customers and assets are protected from preventable loss, injury or illness, and contribute to the positive working environment for all.
It is important that you are flexible in terms of working hours. Early or late shifts within our opening hours and Saturday assignments will be part of your working schedule.

In this role, you will ensure that risks are handled, and IKEA co-workers, visitors, external partners, customers and assets are protected from preventable loss, injury or illness, and contribute to the positive working environment for all.
- You have completed an apprenticeship or have extensive experience in the security environment.
- You know and understand the relevant local and national laws and legislations connected to risk management, health, safety and security, and are very familiar with crisis and risk management.
- You know and understand relevant risk & compliance, health, safety and security steering documents and working methods within Ingka Group
- You have experience in advising line managers and supervisors, can communicate confidently and clearly.
- You have the motivation to create a compliant, healthy, safe and secure place to work.
- You are characterized by a high level of commitment, independence and a sense of responsibility.
- You don't lose your cool even in stressful situations and have strong analytical and numerical skills.
- You are a strong communicator and speak and write in French, English fluently, and preferably German.

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to secure the safety and security of co-workers, customers, suppliers, Riddes unit, and assets.
- Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mindset, raise risk awareness and promote a risk culture throughout the Riddes store, and thereby support growth and maximization of business value.
- Adapt, implement, and operate IKEA occupational health & safety, fire safety and security frameworks based on risk context, business needs, local regulation, and legislation. Deliver subject matter expertise and guidance to provide support, secure operational excellence and project execution.
- Responsible to coordinate Crisis Management Team (CMT) activities in the Riddes Store, and facilitate and conduct internal controls assessments in Health Safety & Security area.
- Secure that all safety and security systems are always fully functional to meet IKEA standards and national/local legal demands.
- Be the single point of contact for all the matters connected to Risk & Compliance when it comes from Authorities (when applicable). Maintain relations with all the public security organs of the community (police, fire brigade, etc.)
