Planning Engineer [Greece]

 Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions, certified in Greece with ISO 9001:2015. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client, Thermoilektriki Komotinis , for a Planning Engineer.

Key Accountabilities:

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures:

• Develop department policies and procedures ensuring their alignment to overall business objectives. Monitor and control implementation and advice on the policy application to ensure that they are understood by all team members.
• Continual review of procedures and ensure alignment with standards and best practices

Departmental Reports:

• Ensure the departmental reports are prepared as per management request, in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements governing reporting.

Health, Safety and Environment:

• Carry out internal audits to ensure adherence to world best practices to ensure correct inputs in CMMS.

Continuous Improvement:

• Update Equipment changes in CMMS.
• Update Material Changes in CMMS.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department system, processes and practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Create Purchase requests and Purchase orders for spares and services.
• Participate in FMECA and review maintenance Plan.
• Participate in Business continuity planning (BCP).

Asset and Plant Maintenance Strategies:

• In co-ordination with the Power Plant Management Team continue to develop robust Asset and Plant Maintenance Strategies.
• In co-ordination with the Power Plant Management Team develop Preventive Maintenance Schedules to Provide the Highest Plant Availability and Reliability.

Spare Parts:

• Verify availability of spares and proceed with the PR status.
• Preparation of Purchase Requests. (Technical points only).

Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS (e.g. SAP):

• Take Ownership details within CMMS.
• Assist in review Plant Inventory.
• Perform completion of works.
• Create follow up and report Maintenance and Operation KPIs related to CMMS System

Maintenance Scheduling:

• Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders.
• Pull out from CMMS system work schedules.
• Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work.
• Update specific maintenance schedules to be accurate and effective.
• In co-ordination with Operation and Maintenance Team.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Engineering, or related Field.

Working Experience: 3 years (instead of 3 – 5 years) •Experience in Combine Cycle Power Plants is an advantage.

Job Specific Skills:

• Deep Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g SAP).
• Very Good knowledge of English Language.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to visit areas at heights and in confined spaces.
• Leadership skills

• Time management skills
• Interpersonal skills
