DevOps Engineer [Thailand]


 

Project description:

We are looking a DevOps Engineer with excellent Linux server System Administrator skills and a strong inclination towards automation. We are looking for an open minded person that is willing to learn new technologies, but that is not afraid of investigating and resolving problems manually.

As a Mid-level DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of our DevOps team, responsible for optimizing and streamlining our software development and operations processes.

Your role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks that support our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery, scalability, and reliability, while also driving best practices in security and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Architecture: Design and develop the infrastructure to support our applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance;
  • CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build, testing, and deployment processes, enabling rapid and reliable releases;
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Manage containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ensuring smooth deployments and scalability;
  • Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance;
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce best practices for infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards;
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, testing to understand requirements and provide support to ensure smooth application operations;
  • Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Participate in incident response and root cause analysis, resolving issues promptly and implementing preventive measures;
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation and share knowledge with team members to enhance the team's efficiency and facilitate seamless onboarding;

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes;
  • Knowledgeable in setting up and maintaining common databases, storage and streaming platforms such as SQL,PostgreSQL, Mongo, Kafka, Redis;
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar;
  • Background in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for performance analysis and troubleshooting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Newrelic);
  • Experience with using one or more of the main cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure);
  • Understanding of network and security principles, with the ability to implement secure and compliant infrastructure solutions;
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks;
  • Familiarity with build tools, artifact repositories, and continuous integration practices;
  • Previous exposure to agile development methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams;
  • Proven problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environmen;
  • Thai Citizen;
  • Good English, both written and spoken;

Nice to have:

  • Experience with infrastructure observability practices and tools for advanced monitoring and analysis;
  • Knowledge of serverless computing technologies and microservices architecture;
  • DevOps certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar;
  • Contributions to open-source projects related to DevOps and automation;
