The Convatec Advanced Wound Care (AWC) Business Unit provides advanced wound dressings and skin care products used for the management of acute and chronic wounds resulting from conditions such as diabetes, immobility, and venous disease, as well as from traumatic injury, burns, invasive surgery and other causes. Key products include our AQUACEL® line of advanced dressings, which features Convatec’s proprietary Hydrofiber® Technology.

The role

This is a highly visible and accountable role and is suited for someone who is passionate about connecting with our health care professionals remotely. You will be a driven individual and motivated by making a difference to the way in which patients are treated for advanced wounds. You will be working in an environment where you will be supported, valued, and rewarded for your performance.

This role will be primarily homebased (Remote) with occasional travel as per customer and or business needs. The Remote Sales Representative will have the responsibility to develop the sales growth within their selected accounts and territories. In addition, the responsibility includes following up on leads generated by various digital activities. You will be a team player and as such work collaboratively with marketing and the field sales teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver outbound calls to sell the Convatec Advanced Wound Care products across your designated regions
  • Qualify leads that have been generated through marketing and educational activities
  • Prospect and discover key customer lead opportunities. Cold call, follow up on opportunities, cross-sell, and up-selling.
  • You will build strong relationships with our healthcare professionals, through one-to-one discussions or through group presentations / demonstrations and product evaluations.
  • You will build and implement a strategic business plan, driving growth via targeted commercial activities to fulfil the company’s growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop account specific strategies.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of the market, competitors, products, and price offers to be more competitive and strategic working closely with Sales Management
  • Developing and maintaining territory & account planning by analyzing the available data and consequently implement actions to achieve the agreed sales goals and activity KPIs.

Within this newly established team, you will work from home (remote). The team consisting of 3 colleagues in UKI and 2 colleagues in Sweden & Norway.

You have excellent virtual selling skills and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle. You are motivated to work remotely, take initiatives with an ability to engage with your stakeholders. You have a strong business insight, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive for solution sales and hitting your targets. You have an open mind to change and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record within sales
  • Preferable a scientific degree (healthcare) and/or AWC product knowledge
  • Analytical skills and experience with KPI analysis and reporting
  • Norwegian, professional business proficiencies (Speaking/Writing/Reading) English is mandatory (Speaking/Writing/Reading)
  • Real passion and expertise in Virtual Sales
