Travel Specialist
LXV.ph and The Luxe Guide, an online luxury marketplace, is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced luxury travel specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating bespoke luxury travel experiences, yacht charters, and luxury events throughout the Philippines. The position is office-based in Makati and requires frequent travel.
Main Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Research and design luxury travel itineraries and packages for clients
- Coordinate and organize luxury yacht charters and other special events
- Communicate with clients and partners to ensure smooth execution of travel plans
- Source new luxury travel providers to expand our offering
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the luxury travel market, including trends, competitive offerings, and new destinations.
- Responsible for in-depth knowledge of products and services offered, learning about products and staying up-to-date on a new product or policy changes.
- Must be able to deliver a high level of service to the expanding member base through regular contact to create the ideal experience.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with our partners
- Write clear and concise emails to clients and partners in excellent English.
- Develop our offers by canvassing the market to find the most exclusive places and potential partners
- Creating new luxury travels, activities & experiences and being able to promote the package would be definitely a plus.
- Ensures that all calls are promptly and efficiently handled and providing quotes and closing sales
- May perform other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Passion for luxury travel and high-end service
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of working experience. Experience in the travel or luxury industry is a plus
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Flexibility to travel frequently
- Have a high level of resourcefulness, multi-tasking, attention-to-detail, and organisation skills.
- Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
- Fast learner who always strives to deliver above and beyond the company expectations
- Confident, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines working under pressure
- Computer and Technology savvy, basic Microsoft Excel functions and G Suite applications
