This Solution Architect role will focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) customers and solutions, including mobile devices, optimization and scheduling of services, resource management etc. Applicants must have asset management industry experience.
The Solution Architect is responsible for leading the overall business value and delivering an IFS solution fit for the customer. The Solution Architect enjoys the challenge of creating and communicating well thought through practical solutions that form the basis for successful client solutions creating highly referenceable customers.
The Solution Architect is responsible for leading all aspects of the solution, working closely with the IFS implementation team, as well as using their industry and implementation experience to advise and guide the customer project team.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide Asset Management industry expertise to guide customer project implementation
- Apply knowledge and experience in complex, multi-phase projects
- Lead and be accountable for the delivery of the IFS solution,
- Maintain clear communication on all aspects of the solution with the customer project and management team
- Work closely with the IFS Project Manager to ensure the risks from complex requirements are minimized
- Coordinate and delegate work within the delivery team
- Work with partners and system integrators in ensuring the IFS experience is consistent regardless of the delivery mechanism
- Be familiar and advise on the successful application of IFS Accelerators
- Maintain the focus on ensuring we deliver value to the customer
- Be involved in the successful delivery of additional consulting services; Select, Success, Safeguarding
- Articulate product direction and the potential value it could bring to our customers
- Identifying and bridging the gap between the customer’s business requirements and IFS Products.
- Conducting customer training sessions and workshops.
- Guiding and assisting the customer with testing and Go Live cut-over strategies.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory and compliance requirements of the Service Management domain in the key focus industries.
- Managing, coaching and mentoring IFS colleagues.
- Ability to work and communicate at the Executive level
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing IFS products, processes and methodology.
Essential:
- An academic background with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience delivering complex Asset Management ERP/IT Solutions in a similar role.
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams, colleagues, customers and partners.
- Ability to articulate and critically evaluate customer-specific business needs and solutions in a customer facing role.
- Expertise in business process mapping and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving ability, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at the executive level.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Experienced in leading a team and delivering solutions
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both oral and written.
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and record of IFS products implementation.
- Industry-specific knowledge from target industries
