- Assist in negotiating pricing contracts with subcontractors & suppliers, research new material for design & cost savings, & develop/implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions & process simplification
- Issue purchase orders for procurement & expedition of materials & equipment for jobs
- Monitoring the quality of service provided, forecast price trends, continually improve pricing & quality of work, meet subcontractors & suppliers on-site as necessary.
Requirements:
- HND or B-Tech in Quantity Surveying, currently serving in the NYSC
- Good negotiation skills, strong analytical & critical thinking skills
- Sound knowledge of construction
- Good measurement/estimating skills
